The Walloon bioeconomy ecosystem is a dynamic network that promotes sustainable development through the innovative use of biological resources. Key organisations such as Valbiom, GreenWin and the Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency (AWEX) play a crucial role in this ecosystem.
Valbiom focuses on the promotion and development of biomass and bio-based products, fostering collaboration between various players. GreenWin is dedicated to advancing research and innovation in green technologies, supporting businesses in their transition to a more sustainable economy. Meanwhile, AWEX facilitates international trade and investment opportunities, helping Walloon companies extend their reach into the global bioeconomy market.
Together, these organisations are helping to make Wallonia a leader in the #bioeconomy, stimulating economic growth while ensuring environmental sustainability.
